Owen Grey, prosecuting attorney, has just lost a case against a proven crook, who is shot and killed as he leaves the courthouse triumphantly. A few days later, another crook is killed as he stands close to Owen.
Owen now engages his skill as a retired sniper to trap a man as good as he was – who could shoot a kill-shot from 1400 yards away. When his adversary is revealed as the son of one of Russia’s retired snipers, Owen is perplexed. He realises the confrontation must be between him and his adversary and so the cat and mouse game begins.
The Russian has already tricked Owen into killing a friend when he almost killed Owen’s three children. Action all the way through! A good read.
